一次考試-An Exam
在一次考試中，老師有事出去了。教室里很安靜，大家都在忙著答卷子。起初我答得很順利，但過了一會兒，我遇到了一道難題，怎么想都想不出來。同學們大多都已經交卷了，我非常著急，想作弊。可是我腦海里突然有個聲音告訴我：“要誠實，永不作弊!”我終于沒有打開書。最后，我沒答那道題就交卷了。雖然我沒有得高分，但我贏得了一次“道德測驗”。誠實比高分更重要。
One day， we were taking an exam。 The teacher excused herself for a moment。 The classroom was quiet and everyone was busy with his paper。 I did well and smoothly at first， but some time later， I ran into a difficult question。 I used every method but couldn't work it out。 Most of my classmates had finished and handed their papers in。 I got so anxious that I wanted to cheat。 But suddenly there was a voice in my mind saying: "Be honest， never cheat!" At last， I didn't open my book， and I handed it in without answering that question。 Although I didn't get a high score， I won in the moral test。 To be honest is the most important。
唐納德數學學得不好。可他不想下功夫學它，而是想著考試作弊。一次考試中，他選了一個挨著史密斯的座位，因為史密斯是全班數學學得最好的學生。唐納德仔細地把史密斯試卷上的答案都抄在他自己的試卷上。幾天后考試結果出來了，老師說要給考得最好的同學一個獎勵。唐納德和史密斯都得了滿分，可老師把獎品只給了史密斯。唐納德生氣地說：“這不公平，我和史密斯考得一樣高，為什么只給他?“是啊。”老師說，“可你的試卷上寫著史密斯的名字呀!”
An Exam
Donald was not very good at math。 But what he thought was not to study harder but to cheat in the exams。 In one exam， Donald chose to sit next to Smith， who was always at the top of the class in math。 Donald carefully copied Smith's answers on to his own exam paper。 Days later the results came out。 And the teacher promised to give a prize to the student who got the highest grade。 Although Donald and Smith both got full marks， the teacher gave the prize to Smith。 Donald was angry and said， "That's not fair。 I got the same score as Smith。 ""That's true， "the teacher said， "but you signed the name of Smith on your exam paper。"
