Never having seen the book, he was so interested in it that I had to retain it longer.

What a pity that I took a wrong one. It went to Milford. There, I waited for half an hour for a bus to Driffield. It was much worse that on the way to your home, the bus broke down. So I just went back home to Pigston. I really do apologize because I didnt speak to you on the phone, but it wasnt my fault. I tried several times, but there was no answer.
