這首歌是音樂劇《音樂之聲》（1965年初搬上銀幕）里的插曲之一。同名故事片《音樂之聲》描寫的是生性活潑、不安心當(dāng)修女的姑娘瑪麗亞。故事發(fā)生在第二次世界大戰(zhàn)前的奧地利，實習(xí)修女瑪麗亞到一個海軍上校家里當(dāng)家庭教師并逐漸獲得七個孩子的喜愛。最后，上校也愛上了她并與她結(jié)婚。
